Indigenous Peoples
Creator of the earth and of the human family, teach us to give due respect to every tribe, every people, and every nation.
Open the eyes of our heart to the present plight of indigenous peoples in many parts of our world.
Grant us the sincerity of heart to recognise and address their suffering.
Save indigenous lands and cultures from the greed of governments and corporations, and from the exploitation of our modern consumeristic way of life.
Grant all of us the humility to learn the wisdom of indigenous peoples so that we can develop a closer relationship with Mother Earth and with its Creator.
We ask that Christ Jesus guides and sustains all our endeavous.
Our prayers give glory and honour to you, our Creator, who formed all people in your own image and likeness.
