PRIEST: God calls us to make a choice to accept and serve Him in faith. We are asked to believe His word knowing we will be granted what we need.
READER: In God’s infinite love we have each been called to journey in faith to the home God has prepared for us. We pray that, as we gather in this Eucharist, we may help each other to grow in our understanding of the Word of God. Lord in your Mercy; Hear our Prayer.
Let us pray for the world’s leaders and diplomats, may they truly become servants of the people. May they work together with compassion and care, building a world of justice, peace and hope. Lord in your Mercy; Hear our Prayer.
Let us remember those who cannot accept or believe in Christ Jesus. May their lives be touched by his love and find nourishment and life in Him. Lord in your Mercy; Hear our Prayer.
Let us pray for those who are filled with anger and hatred, those blinded by rage and thirst for violence. May God’s loving Spirit touch and change their minds and hearts. Lord in your Mercy; Hear our Prayer.
We pray for missionaries, that their lives and work may inspire and help others come and choose life in Christ. Lord in your Mercy; Hear our Prayer.
Let us pray for all who are sick and for all who are in hospital that they experience the healing love of the Lord. Lord in your Mercy; Hear our Prayer.
Let us pray for the recently dead, those killed in violence, war or natural causes, Eternal rest grant unto them…Lord in your mercy; Hear our Prayer.
Let us ask Mary the Mother of the Lord to pray with us. Hail Mary …
In the silence of our hearts, let us pray for our own families and friends.
PRIEST: Almighty and ever-living God,
as we feed on the Body and Blood of Jesus,
Help us to share this life with all who are in need;
we ask this through Christ our Lord. AMEN.
