Prayer for Vocations - Pilgrims of Hope
Heavenly Father,
As Christians called to be pilgrims of hope and builders of peace: we set out on a journey to discover the love of God and at the same time to discover ourselves. Not just as individuals but as communities of mutual care and compassion.
Send the Holy Spirit to guide and nourish our diverse charisms in answer to your call to build the Kingdom of love, hope and peace. May we, God’s people devote our lives to working for the common good. As consecrated men and women who offer their lives to the Lord in the silence of prayer and in apostolic activity, as lay people on the fringes of society, tirelessly and creatively exercising their charism by serving those around them.
Amen.
