INTERCESSIONS FOR THE 32nd SUNDAY OF THE YEAR (Remembrance Sunday)

PRIEST: In the freedom of the spirit we remember all the victims of armed conflict and turn to the Lord with all our needs.

READER: We pray for the Church that our communities everywhere may be recognized as wise and caring for all, regardless of Nationality, Ethnic origin or Religious affiliation. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

Let us pray that we may always be ready to greet Christ when he comes, with our lamps of faith and works alight and bright. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

Let us pray for those living in the fear and danger of a violent death. May we work for peace and reconciliation amongst all nations and peoples. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

Let us pray for the world’s leaders and diplomats that they may work together for compassionate justice and build a world of peace and hope for future generations. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

Let us pray for the peoples most affected by the extremes of changing climate, natural disasters and poverty. May those with the wealth and power act with compassion and wisdom. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

Let us pray for all who are sick and for all who are in hospital, staff and patients, that they be provided with the all they need. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

In this month of November we pray for all our departed and commend them to the love of God. Lord In your Mercy, Hear our Prayer.

We pray now for our own intentions…

Let us ask Mary the Mother of the Lord to pray with us. Hail Mary …

PRIEST: Almighty and ever-living God, we give thanks for all the good gifts that you set
before us. Help us to use wisely all your gifts and be ready share with all who are in
need; we ask this through Christ our Lord. AMEN.
