In time of illness
Illness can cast a shadow over our lives.
We don't quite feel ourselves, our energy levels are low and our spirits feel even lower.
Yet, Lord, at such times I know you are close to me,
So that through whatever fear I may have about my health,
Whatever anxiety I may feel about my treatment,
I know I can find solace in your comfort, find strength in your love, know peace in my heart.
Thank you for being close to me.
