O Holy Night
Lord, O Holy Night, O Blessed Night,
the night you dwelt amongst us!
The night you made our world holy,
the night heaven came down to earth.
The night you shared our birth
so humbly in a stable
that we might be born to eternal life.
The night you shared our frailty
so meekly as a new-born babe
that we might share your glory.
The night you shared our sufferings
so tenderly as a helpless child
that we might share your heaven.
Lord, I give you thanks,
for this Holy Night, this Night Divine!
May I share my life with you
for you shared yours with mine.
