The heart of Christmas
Lord, Christmas is a beautiful time,
a time to catch up on family and friends,
a time to show goodwill to others,
and perhaps to make amends.
Yet without you, Lord
what would all the decorations mean,
the trees, the lights and the presents,
when once they'd all been seen?
You are the heart of Christmas,
and I thank you once again
for the wonder of your friendship
and the gift of your love.
