Columban Prayers – Season of Creation
During this season of creation, open our hearts so that we might develop a deeper appreciation of the tapestry of life which surrounds us and sustains us.
In the face of the ongoing destruction of our Common Home due to human greed and indifference, inspire us to be stewards, nurturing all forms of life.
Through the working of the Holy Spirit, grant political leaders a spirit of urgent conversion, in order to prevent the irreversible devastation of our Common Home.
Through our loving attentiveness and care for the web of life during this season of creation, may all people come to a deeper knowledge of you, the Creator, and of your plan for creation.
