With a fresh and contemporary new design and improved functionality, the Columban Missionaries in Britain’s new website is easy to navigate and fully responsive for desktop and mobile browsing. The new accessible website better illustrates the tremendous work that is being done by the society across the world and it is hoped the refreshed branding and visual identity will appeal to a larger audience, bringing in more donations and helping to make a difference to those living on the margins of life in the many countries around the world where they work.

Supporters can stay abreast of news and updates from mission projects from more than 16 countries across the globe where Columbans are currently working. There will also be interviews, reflections and faith stories from missionaries as well as prayers and useful educational resources available to download on the new website. Visitors to the site will also be able to view previews of Columban publications including their Vocation for Justice Newsletter and The Far East Magazine.

Fr. Peter Hughes, Director of the Columban Missionaries in Britain explains, “We are very excited to unveil our new website for the British Region. We hope that our beneficiaries and supporters enjoy exploring the new website and keeping up to date with the fantastic missionary work that we do to support God’s creation as well as our efforts to protect disadvantaged, marginalised and vulnerable groups in communities throughout the world.” He adds, “Our new website is pivotal to the society’s ongoing success. It is important that we are able to inform our supporters exactly what initiatives we are involved with and how their kind donations are funding our different mission projects and outreach programmes.”

The Missionary Society of St. Columban is an international Catholic missionary organization, centred on the Eucharist that crosses boundaries of culture and religion to announce, by deed and by word, the Good News of Jesus Christ. Working in Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Europe, they help establish a world of peace with justice and care for the integrity of creation in solidarity with poor, exploited and marginalised communities. The Missionary Society of St. Columban in Britain is a group of Columban ordained and lay missionaries who respond to their call to evangelize in Britain by supporting projects to support migrants, asylum seekers and those living in poverty. They seek justice and dignity for those denied their rights and promote life-giving relationships between peoples of different cultures, faiths and backgrounds.

The Missionary Society of St. Columban were pleased to work with Two Thirds Media, an agency specialising in the design of websites, apps, video and banner ads who have previous experience working with charitable organisations.
