Open the Door of Our Hearts
Lord, when you came among us
You were rejected by many.
So many did not want to know
And closed the door of their hearts.
Yet in spite of so much rejection
You still wish to enter
The sanctuary of our inner selves,
To share our lives
In the depths of our beings.
Lord, help me to open
The door of my heart to you always,
Especially this Christmas.
