Every Christmas, we celebrate the gift of Christ, the hope he brings, the joy of God’s presence, and the love that continues to shine in our world. Across many countries, Columban missionaries have walked with communities living in poverty, stood alongside refugees and migrants, nurtured local communities, and worked for justice, peace, and care for creation. Through their witness, we see that God’s love is not distant. It is alive, tangible, and active in our world.
We also remember the vital role of our families, friends, supporters, and partners in mission. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity help bring hope and light to communities where it is needed most. Through your support, together we share God’s love and extend the joy of Christmas to those who are marginalized, vulnerable, and often forgotten.
Christmas reminds us that even in the midst of struggle, Christ’s light breaks through the darkness. It is a light that calls us to hope, to care for one another, and to bring joy to all. Every act of compassion, every shared moment, every prayer offered echoes the message of that first Christmas: Christ is our Emmanuel, God with us, and his love endures.
