Juliette Bone

Faith in Action Volunteer

Originally from Dorset, Juliette loves the outdoors, nature and has a passion for social justice. Since studying French and Italian at university Juliette has lived in France, campaigned and volunteered with CAFOD in the North East, managed projects with UK Youth for Nature (UKY4N) and worked at St Cassians, a Lasallian youth retreat centre in Berkshire. Volunteering with CAFOD, Juliette visited the Holy Land and encountered displaced and oppressed communities in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory which has motivated her to engage and support these communities in her own country and around the world. Her work with UKY4N has also inspired her to continue campaigning for nature, the environment and the indigenous, marginalised or oppressed voices at the heart of conservation and the Climate Crisis. Juliette is delighted to have been accepted onto the Faith in Action Volunteer programme and looks forward to directly engaging with diverse communities, asylum seekers and refugees and the next generation of changemakers.
