Easter Sunday
Creator God,
As we celebrate the season of Easter, we thank and praise you not only for raising up Jesus from death, but for raising up our fallen universe with him.
Thank you for our faith in the risen Christ, and for enabling us to share in his victory over sin and evil, chaos and death.
Through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, strengthen all Christians in faith, hope and love.
May the risen Christ forgive the sins of all the deceased and welcome them into the fullness of life and love, joy and peace in his presence.
May our faith in the risen Christ, and our belief in the communion of the saints remain a source of consolation and healing for those who are grieving.
We ask all this of you through Christ, who is our Resurrection and our Life.
