Loving and merciful God, you sent your Son, Jesus, into our broken and sinful world to reconcile all people and all things to you.
Since the harvest remains great and the labourers few, send the Holy Spirit to open our hearts to joyfully accept the Good News of your unconditional love and respond generously to Christ’s invitation to live as a missionary disciples.
Teach us how to share our gifts and collaborate closely with one another, so that the entire Church might stand before the world as a living witness to truth and freedom, solidarity and compassion, justice and peace.
We ask this through Jesus, our Fellow Traveller and Faithful Friend,
