World Water Day
Good and gracious God,
We thank you for the precious gift of water, which is the source of all life.
Teach us how to care for this precious gift so that all your creatures can experience its blessings and rejoice together in your goodness.
Through the waters of baptism and the Holy Spirit, you call countless people to become disciples of Jesus.
May we who follow the path of Christ Jesus be washed clean of selfishness and become pure in spirit, dedicated to serving you in others and in caring for our Common Home.
We ask this through Jesus, the wellspring of life and the fountain of love.
